Katakana Exploration

I googled 'suikyu' (meaning: water polo) to pick up some more vocabulary on my favorite sport. Water polo is a foreign sport to Japan, so I knew that there would be lots of words to choose from!

Here are a couple of words:

プール: Pool
ゴール: Goal
コート: Court
ボール: Ball
レフリー: Referee
ゴールライン: Goal Line
サイドライン: Sideline

シカゴからポートランドまでのひこうきのきっぷ（ticket)はとても高いですから、このはる休みはポートランドでりょこうをしませんけど、シガゴに行きたいです。 おばさんとおじさんはシカゴで住（す）んでいます。そして、でんしゃのきっぷの方がひこうきのきっぷより安いです。シガゴで、ポーランド（Polish)りょうりを食べたいです。 私はアイススケイトがあるから、「Compton Ice Arena」で、アイススケイテイングをしたいです。「Compton Ice Arena」はたくさん学生のヂスカウントがあるから、とても安いアクチベチーです。はる休みにセーントメリズ大学の学食とカフェはしまっています（closed）から、私は食べものをりょうりします。りょうりはちょっと大へんだけど、りょうりをする方がレストランに行くより安いです。

Self Introduction and First Post

はじめまして、 ベッドーフォードです。趣味（しゅみ）はスポーツと読書（どくしょ）とすがくです。おちゃは大好きです。そして、猫が好きです。 どうぞよろしく。 Translation: [My name] is Bedford. My hobbies are sports, reading, and math. I love tea! Also, I like cats.
